Cuomo the hater denies Conservatives are New Yorkers

January 18, 2014

In an interview Friday, Governor Andrew Cuomo verbally assaulted a whole lot of his constituents as follows:

… You’re seeing that play out in New York. … The Republican Party candidates are running against the SAFE Act — it was voted for by moderate Republicans who run the Senate! Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are. (my emphasis)

As a registered Conservative and life long New York resident, I find this insulting and totally unacceptable for someone who has pledged to work for ALL New Yorkers, not just the liberal left.  No place for people like me, because I believe in our constitutional second amendment right to bear arms?  No place for people like me, because I, like the majority of New Yorkers, believe that abortion is immoral, and should be illegal, except in unusual and rare cases>  No place for people like me who believe in traditional marriage, which is a sacrament between a man and a woman?

What conceit.  What rubbish.  Governor, I think it’s time you get out of your bubble in Albany.  mississippi bound3When our current Gardiner Town Supervisor was campaigning a few years ago, he made a statement regarding those citizens of Gardiner who are concerned  about raising taxes “taxes are low in Mississippi and I will pay for the gas for those who wish to relocate”.

Well, Governor, it seems that your thinking is more in line with Governor Jerry Brown, so maybe Cali is just the place for you!  I’ll make a similar offer and I’ll pay Greyhound busfare for Mr. Cuomo to make a one way trip out west to be with others like himself, and that would make room for a conservative Governor who will understand how to get this state back on it’s feel and out of its continued spiral decline.

All aboard!

Point of interest. I’m abandoning my house (underwater mortgage) because it will not sell. Buyers say the taxes are too high in Gardiner and the surrounding area for them to bother to move up from down below. NY is finished. Who will cover the price for handouts, to those who won’t work, when all the working people are forced out?
